The Soleus Air 35" tower fan (FC-35R-A) is a 3-speed oscillating fan with a sleek and compact design. While it may not be as innovative as the Dyson Air AM07, it has one stand-out feature to offer -- its wind settings. When turned on, any one of these settings tries to simulate an outdoor breeze.

Consumer Feedback: How Do Consumers Like Their FC-35R-A?
- Noise. If you own other models or brands of tower fans, you'll find that the Soleus FC-35R-A makes is either "more quiet" or "louder" as far as its sound or noise level is concerned. But to quote one consumer, this tower fan "sounds like a reasonably loud fridge" on high setting and "is essentially silent if you're standing next to it" on low setting.
- Appearance. At 35 inches in height, this fan is shorter than the Lasko 2551 (which is 42 inches). It has a small footprint, so storage and operation are not an issue.
- Oscillation. This fan oscillates approximately 90 degrees. As one consumer observes, it "doesn't turn on the base. Only the part with the grill oscillates."
- Assembly. Described as "simple," assembly requires 5 screws to put together a two-piece base plate.
- Build. Several buyers appreciate this fan's quality of construction.
- Air Flow. The air flow may or may not be satisfactory to you. One buyer said that compared with the Ozeri, this tower fan's air flow "isn't quite as good." Another says it "blows a fair amount of air." Some buyers, though, are impressed with the air flow.
